Top 25 karaoke tunes!

The party season is in full swing and you have probably heard your fair share of classic rock ballads, bubble gum pop and drunkenly sang/shouted school disco-esque group karaoke songs by now. Everybody has their favourite karaoke tune (even if you never find the confidence to sing it in public) and a recent study has put together list of the most popular karaoke songs in the UK.

The index has been compiled by PRS for Music, formerly the Performing Right Society, a licensing organisation that monitors music use in order to collect royalties for songwriters. For the first time, it has collated a list of the 25 most popular from an analysis of its data going back to the early 1990s, when the karaoke craze started to take off in the UK.
